New Bike Lanes in Southern California’s Most Bike-Friendly City

The City of Long Beach is Southern California’s most bike-friendly city! Go take a ride down 3rd Street and Broadway to see the brand new bike lanes and bike signals! The official opening of these lanes is this Saturday, April 23rd. This $800,000 project (entirely paid for by developer impact fees) has enabled downtown Long Beach’s bike riders to enjoy safe and sound rides. These specific bikes lanes are a mile long and start on Golden Avenue right off of the 710 and end on Alamitos Avenue right by Shoreline Village.
