In the late 1920’s, it was very apparent that a bridge was needed to connect these two communities. The high cost prevented any financial backing being offered on a city, state, or even federal level. That didn’t stop these determined people though. With great energy and enthusiasm, they enacted a unique plan that made the Manette Bridge on the day it was christened, truly, the bridge of the people.

These passenger trains will connect tourists and commuters to the already established transportation systems in downtown Miami. All Aboard Florida train will also have stops in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.
