From November 2014 to February 2018, a combination of EarthCam cameras documented construction of the new SkyConnect trains and a new consolidated rental car facility. Wednesday, September 27th, 2017UDOT closed Bangerter Highway near 7000 South the night of Aug. 19 while crews installed a new pedestrian bridge. The bridge is part of the Bangerter Interchanges project. UDOT is building a freeway-like overpass at 7000 S. This new pedestrian bridge over Bangerter Highway replaces one that was removed earlier this year to make room for the overpass.

The work took place in the middle of the night to minimize any potential disruption to airport operations.
