RPA Assembly 2016: Join the Discussion to Ensure a Thriving NYC Metro Region

The 2016 Regional Plan Association (RPA) Assembly will take place on May 6, 2016 at the Waldorf-Astoria in NYC.

Join the Regional Plan Association on May 6 for RPA’s Assembly, a day of engaging discussion about the best ways to address issues including the crisis of affordability, threats to our coastlines, deteriorating infrastructure and pressures on our quality of life.

Speakers will include:

  • New York Senator Chuck Schumer
  • U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx
  • Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper

At the 2016 Assembly, RPA will unveil the first preliminary recommendations of the Fourth Regional Plan, outlining actions the region should take to ensure sustainability, good governance and shared prosperity over the next 25 years. Each proposal will be presented at a breakout session during the Assembly. After the initial presentation, panelists representing government, civic institutions, community groups and businesses will have the opportunity to respond and offer feedback.
