Marysville, WA: SR 529 Ebey Slough Bridge Replacement

Posted by Infra on Friday, April 13th, 2012

We are replacing the 87-year old two-lane bridge with a wider, four-lane bridge with sidewalks and a bike lane. We will also build retaining walls and an enclosed storm water system for roadway runoff.

The new bridge will open to traffic at 5 a.m. Monday, April 16. The bridge will completely close from 8 p.m. Friday, April 13, until 5 a.m. April 16 as crews prepare for the traffic shift. Once traffic is using the new bridge, crews will begin demolishing the old bridge.

Dear Friends,

It is encouraging to finally see clear signs of federal action to support a comprehensive US infrastructure investment plan.

Now more than ever, our advocacy is needed to keep stakeholders informed and connected, and to hold politicians to their promises to finally fix our nation’s ailing infrastructure.

We have already engaged nearly 280,000 users, and hoping to add many more as interest continues to grow.

We require your support in order to rise to this occasion, to make the most of this opportunity. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to InfrastructureUSA.org.
