Thousands remain without power due to hurricane Sandy, but in the future microgrids might serve as backup generators during extreme weather. – on YouTube.

Sunshine now powers Rockaway Beach Surf Club, which has been turned into a relief center for Hurricane Sandy. This first solar generator installation by Power Rockaways Resilience took place this weekend — Huge thanks to Boat US (boatus.com), the sole sponsor for this community center solar generator. We are already lining up installation for another community center thanks to our indiegogo donors. Help us get more relief for The Rockaways, see our Indiegogo Campaign at http://www.indiegogo.com/PowerRockawaysResilience on YouTube.

Dear Friends,

It is encouraging to finally see clear signs of federal action to support a comprehensive US infrastructure investment plan.

Now more than ever, our advocacy is needed to keep stakeholders informed and connected, and to hold politicians to their promises to finally fix our nation’s ailing infrastructure.

We have already engaged nearly 280,000 users, and hoping to add many more as interest continues to grow.

We require your support in order to rise to this occasion, to make the most of this opportunity. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to InfrastructureUSA.org.
