OREGON DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
ODOT’s 2015 Bridge Condition Report summarizes bridge condition ratings on state highways and performance measures based on National Bridge Inventory and ODOT data. As a consistent reference point for evaluation, ODOT uses the bridge conditions snapshot provided annually to the Federal Highway Administration. Data from the April 2015 submittal is the basis of this report.
Over the weekend of Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, crews relocated the obsolete 379-ton 1920’s era Puyallup River bridge about a quarter-mile to WSDOT property. WSDOT’s goal is to recycle the truss by offering it for another purpose. If unsuccessful, WSDOT will recycle the steel.

TRIP
In this report, TRIP examines the condition of the nation’s major urban roads, including pavement condition data for America’s most populous urban areas, recent trends in travel, the latest developments in repairing roads and building them to last longer, and the funding levels needed to adequately address America’s deteriorated roadways.
A Montana Department of Transportation bridge replacement project received honors in the 2015 America’s Transportation Awards competition. The announcement Wednesday was made at the 2015 Western Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials annual meeting. The project, “Deep Creek Canyon Weekend Bridge Replacement” won in the Best Use of Innovation category for the WASHTO region.
