Plattsburgh International Airport is currently undergoing a $55 Million Dollar expansion. The airport will remain operational during the expected 2 year construction project. Travelers are reminded to plan accordingly, allowing extra travel time for arrival at the airport.

Washington State DOT: How To Move a Bridge (Time Lapse)

Over the weekend of Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, crews relocated the obsolete 379-ton 1920’s era Puyallup River bridge about a quarter-mile to WSDOT property. WSDOT’s goal is to recycle the truss by offering it for another purpose. If unsuccessful, WSDOT will recycle the steel.

Jacksonville, FL: JAXPORT’s First Rail Lines

JAXPORT marked a project milestone today as construction workers placed the first rail lines for the new Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF) at Dames Point…JAXPORT’s ICTF, which will be completed later this year, will allow the direct transfer of cargo containers between ships and trains, speeding up the shipment process and reducing the number of trucks on the road.
